SpatialWorx Web Console

The SpatialWorx Web Console is the centralized administrative interface for configuring and managing your Projects and Account. This interface allows you to build and track the four things necessary to create and maintain a field data collection Project:

• Projects
• Forms and Data Sources
• Data Layers (map features)
• Users

Projects are groupings of field data collection tasks consisting of forms, map layers, and feature data that are assigned to users according to their privileges, and can be customized to meet specific needs inside your organization.

The robust form builder allows for the collection of only the specific data you need, while ignoring unnecessary data.

If something was overlooked in the original project setup, SpatialWorx’s flexible design allows for seamless updates of the forms, data model (attribution), and display characteristics as requirements evolve and change, without disrupting field users.

The SpatialWorx console allows for (among others):

• Full map symbology editing and use of custom icons with which users are already familiar, thus reducing the training curve and ensuring the quickest user adoption.
• Drop down lists, radio buttons, and other form fields are easily created and updated to ensure the highest quality field collection and to lower the overall QA cost of the field collected data.
• Projects and layers can be filtered down to a targeted data set from each source or a specific geographic area to fine tune the data collection activities to only what is absolutely necessary.

Consumable data sources allow import or connection to source data and currently include (with plans to add more vector formats supported by the Geospatial Data Abstraction Library (GDAL) toolset):

• Shapefile
• KML/KMZ
• CSV
• Oracle
• PostgreSQL
• ESRI ArcGIS Server
• WFS
• Smartsheet

And perhaps most importantly, the console provides an interface to Export or publish your Project data so it can be loaded into other systems or shared with stakeholders inside or outside your organization.
