User Settings

System Settings for the selected User:

User ID

The User ID with which the User logs in to SpatialWorx (either the Web Console or Field App).

While any valid ASCII characters (including special characters) are valid for a User ID, it is important to note that the UserID will be used to track feature adds and updates in the Field App - so it should be a value that tells you exactly who the specific user is.

Password

Passwords are case-sensitive and must be between 5-8 characters.

The initial password assigned is temporary and users will have the opportunity to change it when they install the Field App or login to the Web Console for the first time.

Positioning the mouse pointer over the Show password flyover () temporarily displays the Password in the field.

Confirm Password

Password and Confirm Password must match.

Phone

The User's phone number (optional)

Email

The User's email address.

This will be used to send notifications when the user is assigned to a new project or for application updates (new features, etc). Only users with an Administrator role will receive emails concerning Account information such as billing notifications or product-related information.

Role

Roles within which the User operates.

Roles are cascading such that a more privileged role has all the permissions inherited from lesser roles. For example, an Administrator can do anything a Project Manager, Field User, or External User can do.

This user can manage general settings on the SpatialWorx Account and can review sensitive information such as billing, etc.

Project Manager

This user can access the Web Console to add Sources, build Projects, add and manage Users, and create map Layers.

Field User

This user can open the Field App and view/add/update/delete any layer data that is accessible.

External

This user can access layer data with WMS/WFS Services through the SpatialWorx Portal.

This user can access the Web Console to add Sources, build Projects, add and manage Users, and create map Layers.

Field User

This user can open the Field App and view/add/update/delete any layer data that is accessible.

This user can open the Field App and view/add/update/delete any layer data that is accessible.

Assign This User to All Projects

Selecting this check box assigns the User to all projects.

Active User

Defaulted to checked (active) this option lets you mark a User as inactive. Inactive Users cannot be assigned to any Project and marking a previously active User to inactive removes them from all Project assignments and from subscriber fees associated with your Account billing.

First Name

User's first name (optional).

Last Name

User's last name (optional).

Save

Save changes to the User's Settings.

Delete

Delete the User. 

A Confirm Delete User panel displays to Confirm or Cancel deleting the selected User.

Upon deletion the User is removed from any Project assignments and will be unable to login to either the Web Console or SpatialWorx app.
