The SpatialWorx App is the work surface for field users to view, collect, and manage your location based information on their mobile (or desktop) device.
It works on all 3 industry standard device platforms (iOS, Android, and Windows) so you're not locked into a single device type or configuration.
Additionally,
each user has the option to install it on 2 devices - this allows field workers to use it on a mobile device to collect data but also do followup work if they
also have
it installed on a desktop computer.
The SpatialWorx App allows you to work when online or offline - all data is stored locally and updates are synced back automatically or on-demand. It also
supports multiple Projects
on the device.
The App supports the following functions:
Navigate around the Project map area by panning, zooming, and orienting to the current GPS location. Choose the most appropriate basemap for the function you are performing.
Collect new data by placing features in the map (via GPS location or manually). Select and edit existing feature data by opening their forms. Delete unwanted features. Move, rotate, or modify feature symbols in the map.
Toggle Layers to turn them On or Off, either individually or as a group.
Save a working area (and other settings) in the map by creating bookmarks that you can easily come back to.
Search by feature or attribute values and optionally constrain the search by the current map area. Choose a point in the map to select features within a defined radius around that point. Both methods open the interface to select specific features for editing.
Define searchable areas by drawing polygons around a feature set - use the result set to perform edits on single features or as a group. Measure distance and area in the map.
Automatically sync data to/from the server upon opening a Project or sync on demand. Autosync also runs in the background and syncs at configured intervals.
